A project is the container for rooms, agents, and files. The picker in the top bar is how you switch.

Create one

1

Open the project picker

Click the name in the top bar → New project.
2

Name it and pick a layout

3

Set vault and code paths

The form asks for a vault folder (porto’s project files) and, for sibling, a code folder. The Project assistant chip (Ask Grok) can help locate folders if you have a Grok host connected. You can also browse.
4

Create

You land on /chat/<id>/main. The file tree is that project’s vault (and code, if you attached one).

Open an existing one

Picker → Open existing. Point at a vault folder porto already knows, or paste a path you used before.

After it opens

You should see:
  • the room transcript in the center
  • the participant list (add your first agent here)
  • the file tree
  • Settings for providers, if you have not connected a host yet
Switching projects is a full context change — new rooms, new agents, new files. The URL is the source of truth; you can bookmark /chat/<id>/main.
